Happiness and Protégé wrapped up their competition season at the FAME Show Choir Cup in Chicago, IL. Protégé finished one of its best ever seasons by taking Grand Champion honors in the prep division. Happiness finished as 3rd Runner-Up and won the award for the Most Original Selection at the competition. Congratulations show choirs! The Kennedy show choirs had another successful competition weekend at Davenport's Great River. Chanteurs, our 9th grade show choir, competed in the prep division where they were 5th place. Chanteurs were a mere 1 point from 4th place in the division and 36 points over the only other 9th grade show choir there! Protege was named champion of the prep division. Happiness, Inc. ended both the day and evening rounds at 1st Runner-up in an extremely competitive field. Finally, for the 3rd competition in a row, the show choir combo was just 1 point from being named Best Band. Congrats to all involved in the Kennedy show choir program!
