Kennedy 9-10 boy's Tennis beat Washington 7-2 last night. Winners include: Arjun Venkatesh, Brandon Hendrickson, Shane Nielsen, Eric Hanson, Landon Crippes, Trevor Oates, Nathan Kenworthy, Addison Brockette, John Ling, Kyle Roper, Kyle Fischer, and Austin Burns. The Cougars finished 6-3 this year.

The men's tennis team closed out its 2010 season with a 4th place finish at the Team State Tennis tournament on Tuesday in Des Moines. The Tennis Cougs had a hard fought loss in the morning's dual against eventual team champion West Des Moines Valley, losing 5-4. The Cougar team then took a 5-2 loss in the afternoon against Bettendorf in the consolation finals. Scoring wins for the Cougars were Jeff Damisch, Riley Galbraith, BJ Cunningham. Congratulations go out to those players as well as Ethan Gascho, Nolan Nietert, Dan Wasta, and Robert Sweet on being good representatives and tough competitors for Kennedy at the team state tournament. The 2010 team finished with a record of 12-5 and were one of the top four tennis teams in the state.
