Cougar Volleyball Club is an off-season competitive option for Kennedy and Kennedy-bound volleyball players (for girls and boys), which is sponsored by USA Volleyball and the Iowa Region. Our season runs from approximately Dec through early April. ?Tryouts' are held to level teams and to select players based on their skill assessment. We use these tryouts to place as many interested participants as possible, as we are not here to cut kids and we can typically find a team for nearly everyone. (The exception holds though, in the event we have too many interested to accommodate with knowledgeable and experienced coaches or if we have too many to players for one team and not enough for two.)

Last season we had 11 teams in our club and we are expecting approximately that many this year. Our philosophy is simple: the more touches our athletes can get on the ball.the better they'll/we'll be. And, when we can train teammates and potential teammates together, even in the off season, with our own systems, etc.it's even more ideal! This early training is no doubt helping our high school teams become a top-level program.
