Congratulations to the Kennedy Men's Golf Team for their 4th Place finish in the IHSAA 4A State Golf Tournament on Friday and Saturday at cold and snowy Davenport Country Club.  The Cougars fell just short of third place by two strokes.  Leading the way for the Cougars was junior Dane Worley with a third place total of 149.  Sophomore Cody Bell shot 162 finishing tied for 20^th, while sophomore Jonathan Chadick finished tied for 27th with a 164.  Senior Isaac Brown and sophomore Mitchell Martin finished tied for 28th with a 165 and senior Connor Steele finished in 34^th with a 166.  The Cougars return four State Tournament contestants and nine of their top eleven players on a team that set a school record with a 94-6 overall record as well as MVC Champions, CRANDIC Champions, Linn-Mar Invitational Champions, Tiger Invitational Champions, and District Champions to go with their 4^th place finish at the State Tournament.
