Cougar Golf Results

The JV Men's Golf Team won their second meet of the season last night at Gardner Golf Course. Leading the way for the Cougars were Co-Medalists Dan Wasta and Kyle Custer with a score of 38. Other scores include, Harrison Moore 39, Landon Crippes 42, Tyler Kalina 44, and Zach Winters with a 48. The JV's next meet is September 8th at Airport National.

Golf (Men's)

The Kennedy Varsity Golf Team suffered their first defeat of the season last night at Ellis Golf Course with a two-stroke loss to Cedar Falls. CF shot a 158 to better the Cougars at 160. Kennedy defeated City High who shot 163 and Linn-Mar with a 166 in the other team scoring. Junior Brigham Stewart led the Cougars with an even-par 36 birdying the final two holes in dramatic fashion. Senior Dane Worley contributed a four-over par 40 and junior Cody Bell a 41. Junior Mitchell Martin and senior Jud Rhoades both shot 43 while junior Jake Wilding brought home a 44. The Cougars will be defending their CRANDIC title on Tuesday at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City.
