End of the Season Golf Banquet! Thursday October 27th 5:30-8:00
The Kennedy JV Golf Team finished 4th in the season finale at Airport National Tuesday night. Jimmy Cunningham lead the way for the Cougars with a 35. Hunter Corkery and Patrick Martin carded 38’s. Other scores for Kennedy were Andy Washburn with a 40, Landon Crippes 41, and Jared Poole 43.
The freshman boys golf team concluded their season last night with a 2nd place finish at Gardner Golf Course. Seth Nutt was the overall meet medalist with a score of 39. Also contributing to the team score were Ross Grekoff, Tanner Stewart and Matt Hutchison. Congratulations on a great season guys!

The Kennedy Golf Team finished their season with a solid 4th place finish in the IHSAA State Tournament last Friday and Saturday at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City. The Cougars were in 4th place after day one with a team total of 319. WDM Valley was in 1st place with a 309. Seniors Cody Bell and Mitchell Martin led the charge on the first day with a pair of 79’s. Senior Brigham Stewart shot 80 and junior Harrison more 81. On day two of the tournament the Cougars improved to a team score of 315 led by Bell with a 75 and Moore with a 78. Stewart shot another 80 and senior Tyler Kalina an 82. Jake Wilding played both days for the Cougars as well. Kennedy’s 634 total kept them in 4thplace. The state fourth-ranked Cougars finished above the number one and number three ranked teams. This group of seniors, Cody Bell, Brigham Stewart, Mitchell Martin, Jonathan Chadick, Jake Wilding, and Tyler Kalina all played on teams that placed in the top 4 at State all four years they played golf at Kennedy. What an outstanding accomplishment and great leadership! Way to go Cougars! We are proud of you!

The Freshman Boys Golf Team continued their undefeated season at Twin Pines. Ross Grekoff was the meet medalist shooting a one over par 37. Seth Nutt, Cole Murdock & Tanner Stewart scored as well giving the team a final score of 161. Great job guys!
