 Bowling

STATE TOURNEY BOUND.... Chalet Brown bowled a 471 and Paige Ermer a 450 to propel the Kennedy Girls Bowling Team to the Regional Championship on Saturday in Waterloo.  Kennedy won the crown with a 2750.  Congratulations girls and Good Luck at State!  Good Luck to Caroll Keister, Ashley Hoppe, Alecia McEachran, Paige Ermer, Kathryn Wheeler, and Chalet Brown, Your Cougar Girls State Bowling Team for 2009-10.  And "THAT'S HOW WE ROLL!"

BOYS BOWLING

The Kennedy Boys Bowling Team finished their first year of sanctioned bowling with a loss in Regionals, but the future looks bright for the young Cougar bowlers.
There are no Seniors on this team so they are in a building year. The team started the season with series of 2533 and during the season they have improved greatly. There have been 4 meets when the team had more then 2800 pins. This meet they had a 2892. That is the score for 5 bowlers.  To put it into retrospect, that means every boy bowled an average of a 578 series average games of 192. When you consider Troy McKiernan has the highest average on the team and Troy has a 182.7 average, everyone getting a 192 is pretty good.  Joe Workel had 200 and 201 for a 401 series, Troy McKiernan had a 211 and 200 for a 411 series and Anthony Spoke had a 245 and 200 for a 445 series.
