 Basketball (Women's) 

Congratulations to the varsity girls basketball team for winning their 6th straight game, upsetting 6th rated Iowa City High 70 to 66 on Friday night and beating Decorah on Saturday night 59 to 45.  Having outstanding two games were: Courtney Strait  with 44 points, Stephanie Botkin with 23 points, Kaylese Johnson with 22 points, Madi Meier with 16 points, Paige Hendrickson with 15 points, Capria Davis 5 points, Jordan Holmes with 4 points. The girls are in action again on Friday night at Washington for a boy/girl doubleheader. The Sophomore's won two more games beating Iowa City High 38 to 23, and Decorah 47 to 29 to improve their record to 13 and 2.

 

 2011-12 Seniors

Last night the Sophomore Girls’ Basketball team won their final home game of the season. Beating Washington for the second time this season, 42-29. The Lady Cougs were led in scoring by Abby Hellweg with 12 points, and Sydney Green and Katelyn Dye both with 7 points. The win brings their record to 13-3 on the season. The Sophomores will play at Linn-Mar on Saturday starting at 5:00 with the Varsity game to follow. Come out and watch the Varsity tonight over at Washington High School in a girl/boy doubleheader starting at 6:00.
