The Varsity Boys’ Basketball team split two games this past weekend. The Cougars were beaten by City High Friday night and bounced back with a win Saturday night against Fulton, Illinois. The Cougars were led Friday night By Cody Bell’s 8 points and Joe Coleman’s 8 rebounds. On Saturday night , The Cougars had 12 different players score as Cody Bell led the team with 9 points and Alex Hayden added 8. Joe Coleman had 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the Cougars in those three categories.
The Brickside Cafe Players of the week are Defensive Player: Darius Fuller and Josh Jahlas, Rebounder: Joe Coleman, Free Thrower: Elliott Christians and Great Teammate: Pat Martin
The Cougars are in action again this weekend as they play Washington on Friday night and Linn Mar on Saturday night.
