Congratulations to members of the Kennedy Band program for their participation in the Northeast Iowa District Honor Band. They were selected based on their ability from a pool of talented musicians across Northeast Iowa. Kennedy was represented by Griffin Uthe, Josh Lyman, Lexi Forstrom and Laura Fischer – all earning 1st chair honors. Kennedy also was represented by Amy Wacker, Aria Polglaze-Carter, Michael Magner, Lizzy Staley and Christina Nesslage.

Help Keep the Stage Lights ON!
Please help us support the upkeep of the Kennedy Auditorium by bringing in your Hy-Vee grocery, gas and drug store receipts and dropping them in the box in the choir room. We will also be collection boxes at this year's concerts.
Every year, the performing arts departments each spend up to $200 to maintain the lighting in the auditorium. Your receipts can help replace existing lamps with newer fixtures and add to the overall upkeep for the performance space.
For every $200 in store receipts, Hy-Vee will give Kennedy $1. It's as simple as dropping the receipts off at a concert or classroom.
Receipts need to be from a Cedar Rapids/Marion area location and be dated from August 2012 to April 2013.
