 About Us 
  Kennedy Theatre presents four full-length shows per season/school year. Plays with casts of 10 - 80 are selected by the directors with the goal of creating a diverse and high interest program for students and community members alike.
   One show per season is funded and sponsored by the Children's Theatre of Cedar Rapids and targets the youngest students for its audience.
   The Spring musical typically involves the most students and is the grand finale for theatre season.
   Whether working in our 225 season seat Black Box theatre, or in the 815 seat main auditorium, students can create costumes, build sets, program computers for lighting and sound as well as performing a role or operating moving scenery. There is truly an opportunity for every student to participate and we are very proud to say that, unlike many activities, THERE IS NO FEE OR CHARGE FOR STUDENTS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE.
