Foundation of the Performing Arts Projects
Lighting console 2008-2011
We are working on replacing our older fixtures with newer state of the art lighting fixtures that require less maintenance and a lower annual operating cost.
Long term goal is to have enough instruments to run the Black Box Theatre and the Auditorium without transporting our lighting equipment. The FPA has funded the entire project and the Theatre department is continuing to work towards this goal.
Wirelss Microhone Rack 2009-2010
FPA has also funded the purchase of a new wireless microphone rack that makes our students sound great no matter where they are at. We use these microphones all over the school building for everything from show choir and drama events to assemblies and presentations. Along with the microphones FPA updated the entire PA system in the auditorium with new front of house speakers, subs and monitors. This system also allows us to have a completely portable PA system to use anywhere in the building. The portable system has given us the ability to train our students on state of the art equipment while setting up a professional audio system.

These new lights and keyboard are used all the time to make the events on Kennedy's stage sound and look like a professional production.
